A dictionary is now and has always been your best friend. My grandmother helped me to learn to used them and love them and she never finished school. Every time I asked how to spell a word, she would tell me to “check the dictionary”.
I thought it crazy at the time, but the more I did it, the better my spelling got. Now, I recognize that my ability to use words also grew.
